September: It is that time of the year when our kids go back to school and everything goes back to its normal routine…Nothing to worry about, right? Wrong! As parents, we should encourage our children to sit properly at their desks and to have correct posture when they are standing or sitting down. Here are some tips you can share with your children to ensure that they have correct posture throughout the day.
- How to achieve Posture Perfect:
First, stand straight and tall with your head high.
Second, put your ears, shoulders, hips, knees, and ankles in a straight line.
Finally, pull your belly button toward your spine.
- Remember to sit up straight and walk tall today!
- Remember to have your school bag light or rucksack light.
- When you’re playing games or doing homework on the computer remember to sit tall, just like you’re playing the piano!
Have fun in school and enjoy your new posture!
