One of the most common conditions that we see in our clinic is sciatica. It is a condition where most people experience numbness, tingling – like pins and needles or pain in different body areas, such as back of someone’s legs, bottom or feet and toes. Sometimes sciatica can cause back pain but just because you have back pain it doesn’t necessarily mean you suffer from sciatica. Most people have sciatica for up to 4 to 6 weeks but in some occasions the pain can last longer. In order to check whether you have sciatica, we recommend you do simple exercise, such as stretching your back or gentle exercise of the whole body. Do carry on with your normal activities as much as possible.
If the pain persists, we recommend you see a specialist to speed up your recovery. You can book an appointment with us to help you ease the pain or cure sciatica completely in some cases. After thorough examination and X-Rays if necessary, we accurately diagnose the condition and proceed with specific spinal adjustments/manipulations or with any other technique necessary to relieve your pain. Our clinic is fully equipped with the latest modalities when it comes to pain management and rehabilitation and we pride ourselves with more than 16 years of experience. All treatments are customised and precise to the individual.
